I’m sorry. I’ll remember to be happy the next time I see so conservatives cheerleading the gutting of our military. Why is that so hard to understand?

Hey I support the military too. My son is in the AF, my father worked for DOD, and my uncle was a decorated war vet. I think (I hope) what the poster is saying, is that we are $17T in debt. We don't have the luxury to be policing the world any longer. I for one support a very strong military that protects our country, and the most vital of our interests.

The days of being Uncle Sugar for humanitaran, political, or for whatever else should be over. I can see your point too, but our inept government has put us in this position.
