The relating that a vertical government (now obsolete because it) transmogrified following establishment of this nation under agrarian founders has great merit (the Spider and the Starfish references, IIRC). The vertical transmogrification to usher along the advancements of the industrial revolution is poorly fitted to handle the planar technological advancements we have now in abundance.
Whittle's idea of free enterprise solutions to improving education, etc. has great merit, and I've been contemplating all day on the ways a transition of our current governmental system into a more flexible, smaller federal footprint might be achieved. But everything I come up with requires a virtuous people, where the taboo structure of the culture prevents men from criminal fraud on the scale our banking system world-wide now purveys. And where cheating the vote counts is anathema because it sheats your neighbor in the final analysis.
I really do believe there is a globalist agenda being arranged which requires the collapse of our We The People Republic in order to be established as one world government. I believe that globalist framework is what allows the antichrist to take world-wide control so quickly. But I cannot know the timing factors, obviously.
And who can say, the decline of education and rise of debauchery in America has been going full bore for long enough now that most people who can vote are too disconnected and or uneducated to even know why it is their duty to vote responsibly instead of on emotion and revenge.
Perhaps these people need to be ruled now, instead of being the sovereigns the founders desired. We certainly live in interesting times! Maybe a dlengthy discussion thread will arise on which ideas may be aired, related to Bill Whittle's vision. ... But somehow I doubt it will happen.
Can't say whether a discussion will be lengthy or not but I did post your link on this excellent thread by Joanie-f:
November 6, 2012: A Day That Will Live in Infamybecause I think it may be an antidote to our despair and hopelessness over what we fear is coming.
Cordially,
