The Effin weird thing about this election is that less Republicans voted for Mutt than McCain.

damn, where is the link to those numbers? That is serious crap.
Wanna know how you lose in life? Just don't show up. That's really all it takes and that's what happened in this election, costing us gains in both houses, the White House and losing in several state on issues important to us.

I the tables above you can see that while Republicans narrowed the Electoral College gap, the total number of votes cast were somehow 2,190,308 less than in 2008!
How exactly does that work/happen?! I mean, are you kidding me. Obama plays to sparse crowds and Mitts event arent just standing room only; they are, in fact, blowouts!
Why wouldnt we think there would be less votes cast for Obama? What was he going to run on? Well, I guess we know the power of the drug he was selling because Hopium found more addicts.
Thats right, in 2008 a spell bound America had found their savior and 69.5 million (approx) votes were cast for Obama! In 2012I guess he wasnt as popular as he once was because only 60.5 million votes were cast for The One.
How does a guy with an abysmal economic record, who didnt focus on jobs, pursued many of Bushs policies and screwed up plenty of his own internationally, how does he get re-elected?!
WITH 13% FEWER VOTES THAN HE GARNERED TO ASCEND TO THE WHITE HOUSE!!!???? REALLY? REALLY?
Come on! Republicans werent even close to being serious about voting for their country. 4% less votes were cast for Romney than were for McCain, arguably a worse candidate.
Obama is less popular and thats a fact but, we cant find enough votes to retire this guy? You have got to be joking me!
And please, dont anyone give me some pap about which states were carried or needed to be carried, thats a given. The friggin numbers dont lie.
We did not show up and our performance was a D+ effort. Theirs was an unremarkable C+ and thats all it took.
I couldnt see any energy for Obama and was certain we would prevail. I saw more energy for Romney than McCain and that gave me even greater confidence.
But, here is the kicker because we didnt show up we failed to:
Increase our share of the Senate. Hell, I dont know how that is mathematically possible except that we didnt show up. The Democrats now have a 54-45 majority if we count the two independents. Thats just plain stupid. We were suppose to increase our lead to at least 51 Republicans and if we got lucky as many as 57.
Fauxchahauntus is indeed a powerful spirit.
In the Congress we really should have picked up a super majority and I guess all we could muster was a gain of 1 seat.
This is the strangest election. It seemed like Republicans were really motivated and buoyed by our 2010 Tea Party success. If that sail didnt lose its wind it must have been rent and torn into tiny little pieces.
Just awful.
I didnt believe it until today but, maybe the Tea Party is dead
Dont anyone bother me with the details of state by state. Im researching that now. Bottom line, our friends who said they were invested in this election are frauds.
