Sorry for the vanity (I know they've been numerous since our defeat) but I think as we look at how to deal with the hand we've been dealt, what I have outlined above is a viable first step.

Thanks.

Sorry, but I am leaving the game. It’s over.

Your priorities are messed up, and your suggestions are just superficial band-aids on a root cancer deep inside the body.

Unless and until this nation and people do II Chronicles 7:14, until this people cry out to God and repent from our evil ways (which means STOPPING doing evil) - then we wills suffer the consequences we have sown for ourselves - and endure the cur sings of Deuteronomy 28 until we are utterly and completely destroyed.

I know few like to hear this, and it angers many. But it is the ONLY solution before us that has any chance at all to tackle the cancer that we are plagued with.

Look, if last night’s vote had produced such a convention, you know the expectations (hopes and dreams) you have for its achievments WOULD NOT be realized; and by what argument do you think a call for such a convention, in this electorate at this time, would produce a convetnion that would approve that which you think it should approve.

I can agree with many of your sentiments about things you would like such a convention to adopt.

I am not trying to be mean, but I simply believe that such a convention, with the mandate you would like it to have is a “pipe dream” of an idea AT THIS TIME. It just ain’t gonna happen. It is not likely to get enough backing just to exist and this electorate in the country right now is not going to produce a majority in such a convention with regard to your sentiments. It would be as divided as is the House and the Senate now and there would be no concensus in line with your thinking and if everyone was convinced they must produce some kind of result, we would be the losers in the compromise that they come up with just to achieve something. No thanks. That would make us only worse off than we are.

To preserve and restore this republic as it was founded we need a constitutional convention in which the states reassert their 10th amendment rights.

No, the fault does NOT lie with the Constitution. The fault lies squarely in the laps of the People. WE are the ones who have been 'educated' into idiocy. Trusting government to teach us what our Rights ARE is ridiculous. We have got to reeducate everyone as to what the Constitution is and means

If you want to stop being a federal slave, STOP claiming to be a federal citizen!

-----

“It is quite clear, then, that there is a citizenship of the United States, and a citizenship of a state, which are distinct from each other and which depend upon different characteristics or circumstances in the individual”.
Slaughter-House Cases, 83 U.S. (16 Wall.) 36; 21 L.Ed. 394 (1873)

“...there was no such thing as citizen of the United States, except as that condition arose from citizenship of some state
United States v. Anthony, 24 Fed. Cas. 829, (Case No. 14,459)(1873)

“We have in our political system a government of the United States and a government of each of the several States. Each one of these governments is distinct from the others, and each has citizens of it’s own...” United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542 (1875)

“The rights and privileges, and immunities which the fourteenth constitutional amendment and Rev. St. section 1979 [U.S. Comp. St. 1901, p. 1262], for its enforcement, were designated to protect, are such as belonging to citizens of the United States as such, and not as citizens of a state”.
Wadleigh v. Newhall 136 F. 941 (1905)

-------

So please STOP thinking a Constitutional Convention is a good idea, because with all due and honest respect....

you have NO CLUE as to what you're messing with.
