Why do you demand that the President double as your spiritual leader?
The President's job should be to keep the bureaucracy from messing up the economy, and to keep us safe from foreign violence, and otherwise leave us alone to manage our own affairs.
I have a feeling that the Evangelicals who opposed Romney would have been similarly peeved at a Catholic, Orthodox, or Jewish candidate. Or even a candidate outside their own tiny sect.
We are not electing a Christian king. At the same time I will not be party to advancing and anti-christian ideology.
