I live in NY where my vote for president is always a throw away vote. My vote NEVER counts because the rest of the state put together cannot overcome the momentum of NYC.
I voted third party as well, as did a number of others I know.
I don't know the final numbers, but I don't have a doubt that even if EVERYONE who didn't vote for obama voted for Romney with 0 third party votes, obama would still have won.
You can lose the attitude. I finally voted in a way I wouldn't have to answer to my Maker for. It was a protest vote only, but I could not pull the lever for Romney.
Maybe if the GOP had endorsed a real conservative, things would have been different.
OTOH, this country has rejected God on so many levels, that God has finally given it what it wants. We're just caught in the fallout.
This day was coming when this country was founded and nobody wants to be the ones to see it, but we're here and it's ours to deal with and now what we have to do is decide what's next.
What this has also shown me is that this world is close to the end times. It's ripe to embrace the real antichrist since it's embraces his forerunner.

We (Believers) all know what God’s plan is - we just don’t know the time-table.
God IS using Obama - but using him to judge us and not to bring us restoration. America is toast - this was probably our last chance - a Pro-life VP - new Pro-life judges - etc - all gone.
God threw us a life-line and we chose not to hold on - because it wasn’t a “perfect” life-line. We have made our choice - we choose the culture of death - and God will honor that - we will get death - lots and lots of it.
You and I look at the presidency differently.
For you to vote for a candidate, he has to be a Godly leader worthy to be followed.
To me, he simply has to be an honorable employee and a good steward of our American heritage.
Who do you want doing brain surgery on your child? A doctrinally sound born again King James Version only Christian who does not cut his grass on Sundays? Or would you want the best doctor available?
The gravest danger to our constitution was a CULT with a history of trying to squelch dissent and criticism taking over a second third of Government.
If we "Christians" had elected Romney do you think God would have intervened on our behalf when the predictable attacks on the first amendment began ?

Analogy: Would not Egypt be better off with a non-believer like Mubarak who kept the Muzzies at bay and allowed the Christians free worship (and the ability to convert) - or are they better now that the Christians are being killed and expelled - WHO wiil preach the Gospel to those people now?
Maybe you’re right - maybe it will be better now as the persecution of Christians in Amerika heats up and we are forced into home-churches. It will eventually happen anyway - I just didn’t want it to be now.

And if we as a nation repent we will have God's help keeping him in check. Conservatives should be grateful that God's people did not anger God by turning from him out of fear.

Brother, I think if you consider that Romney has governed TO THE LEFT OF BILL CLINTON on gun control, gay marriage, socialist healthcare etc, you will agree that he is and never was a "good steward of our american heritage".
