Of course, it’s also possible that there’s an aspect of Romney’s persona or resume that rubs people the wrong way. One element may be a perception of Romney as this ruthless plutocrat.
“I voted for a Christian, Conservative who opposes abortion and homosexuality. Can you say the same?”
I voted to help keep the nation from nose-diving instead of at least a hard landing.
God can war with Mormons if he’s just too damn bored to deal with the Muslims.
The theological differences are an obstacle to the unity we need. "We must all hang together or we will surely all hang separately."
Taking a survey: How many of you attend a Christian church, of any denomination, where you heard an anti-Mormon sermon? Wondering if it happened in evangelical churches or in mainline?
- - - - - -
I attend a couple of different churches (depending on where I am) one mainline (Lutheran) and one Evangelical (Calvary Chapel) and I have NEVER even before this election heard an anti-Mormon sermon from either church EVER!
I hope you voiced to him that he is a fool. He must have thought Romney was running for a church office and not a political office.
Or maybe not realized there is a difference.
I can tell you I know about ten evangelicals. All but one were staying home.
You put your faith in God to put the dictator out and professed it by not voting for Romney. God just told you that it was up to you to remove the kenyan by voting for the one person who could get enough votes to displace him.
Now what have you accomplished? You put your concepts of faith before preserving the Constitution that protects your concepts of faith and your rights to hold them.
You had better start praying very hard that the Constitutioh and our freedoms can somehow be saved because God left the removal of the dictator to you and your vote and you have been found lacking.
Fools all and certainly no friends of what is left of our Republic.
Mormons and muslims are no different in the eyes of God - both are lost and in need of Jesus.
They haven’t come close to counting or reporting all the votes. It will be weeks, and the final totals will be millions higher than what you see.
I don’t expect the total to match 2008, but I guess it could.
The GOP nominated a liberal and expected conservatives to vote for him because he was a Republican liberal.
Folks still persist in trying to blame flame and shame the social conservatives for Romney's loss. They should instead blame the GOP who has lost its way and abandoned the winning formula Reagan showed them.
Goode was the Constitution Party vanity candidate. The equivalent of voting for Mickey Mouse if you couldn’t do a write-in protest vote.
I didn’t think so.
How ya doin’ sister?
Neither one of the candidates was a Christian in any sense: Obama is a wishy-washy muslim through and through, and Romney is a Mormon who believes that God (Jesus) is the brother of Lucifer and is only one of hundreds of thousands of gods in the universe. So, no Christians were on the ballot.
Romney is now and always was a devout democrat, espousing all of their beliefs in homosexuality, abortion (rape, incest, and health of mommy were nothing more than 100% abortion on demand . . . we already have that, Mitt), government intrusion into the private sector (federal or state required health care . . . what's the difference?).
Once again, I had to hold my nose tightly to vote for Romney just like I did for Dole, and just like I did for McLame.
I have participated in this charade too many times to be snookered again. Our society is now a godless and disgusting gaggle of pro-homosexuality and perversion at its lowest. I personally cannot fault the Evangelicals for refusing to partake in this godless experiment in government. God bless them for showing backbone. There was no biblical Christianity on either side of the ballot.
I will never again give my support to what's left of the Republican Party in any way. We voted in a strong bunch of Tea Party conservatives in 2010 who were instantly muzzled, silenced, and made impotent by the RINO John Boehner.
Sorry, but until another party of some substance shows up, I will not vote again in any national election.
Welcome to the Jungle. You just voted for the Muslim...
- - - - -
Nope. Not even a good try. I voted for whom I voted, not a Mormon or a Muslim who are both liberals.
What part of the electoral college do you not get? My vote didn’t change the outcome at all of my state or even the local elections, but I voted nonetheless.
“Get a grip...Goode voters had no effect on the election.”br>
Agree - but it is that mindset (along with voter fraud) that helped Obama cling to power.
In that case, I would have walked out and shaken the dust of that place off my shoes in the parking lot.
You are correct. Somehow Republican votes disappeared.
yes Romney was shoved down our throats - but he ran a classy campaign with honor and dignity befitting the office.
who do I hold accountable - every one here who bemoaned his mormonism and sat it out on principle.
Id suggest everyone here go off screen for a while - the govt needn't know anything more about us - as its clearly gearing up against us
Remember, it’s not cast the ballot. It’s who counted it.
I don’t know a damn thing about it. But I suspect we will find cheating on a grand level.
(Nope. I voted...neither for Obama or Romney...Also, last I heard, Evangelicals were 1/3rd of the total 2010 vote...that was hardly "staying home 'again'")
