I doubt Obama will ask for tax hikes.

He doesn't have to -- they'll happen automatically with the expiration of the "Bush tax cuts" and the provisions already in Obamacare. The one drawback to the GOP House going full-bore obstructionism as a general policy is that inaction will work against us on those two.
