Two things.

One, a lot of blacks and latinos in the military.

Two, a lot more Civil Servants in VA, plus the Yankee migration/immigration is turning VA, NC and FL purple.

Eventually it will start bleeding into GA and TX too...probably in 2 more decades.

The Obama Administration has been sitting on a ton of RIFs. A lot of those Va. Federal Employees will be going home soon. Idiots.

Don’t discount the Yankee migration thing. They move down here and start voting for the same garbage that made them move. Combine that with the residue of our past sins and mistakes, and you get Romney squeaking out North Carolina.
