I’ve listened to too many women at lunch talking about someone at home, and only at the end of the story realizing it was a pet or a TV character - seriously.
No one remembered those lessons from 2008. They won’t tonight, either. The optimism kool-aid is too sweet.

It isn’t just the minority vote. With whites it is also a matter of age and gender. White women and young whites are voting Democrat. White women are not only voting Democrat, their turnout % is higher than white men.
This election is really about white women and white youth. In 2016 the Latino vote will be a major factor particularly with Obama giving the fast track to citizenship to the anchor babies. Don’t be surprised if he uses his pardon power after the election to grant amnesty to all illegals. Then Reid and the Senate will demand a fast track to citizenship to all.

Indeed, the Republicans had so much AMMO to use against Obama... Solyndra, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, executive orders, the unpopular Obamacare, the rancid economy, all sorts of things. But, over the past two years, especially, it has never seemed as though the GOP has tried to TRULY utilize any of it against Obama. Not really. They’ve pulled their punches, over and over again.

Romney can’t even take NC. I know it’s still a tossup, but I think NC was supposed to be easy for him. And despite Walker winning a no confidence vote and Ryan being on the ticket, he still loses WI.
