Yeah. Ratings.

Kerry was way ahead in the "exit" polls, too. Plus, those who are concerned about being called "racist" may have easily lied or simply didn't answer.

Exit polls are "fun", but really aren't anywhere near accurate.

Don't worry about these. We won't get a real count until after the polls close.

David Burge ‏@iowahawkblog after 2000, 2004 and the WI recall, who the hell commissions exit polls? It's like a burn victim buying his 4th Ford Pinto.

The media always fakes these exit polls. don’t believe the lies . This is all to suppress conservative voter turnout.

Get in line , stay in line, vote , like your life and freedom depend on it because it does.

Correct me if I’m wrong... These are early exit polls Reps usually come out later and WI is not on the list... If Romney wins WI and the other toss ups he gets 273... That’s enough for me....

Virginia closes in less than 1 hour. If Obama takes it, that’s all she wrote.

Romney can win if he gets NC, FL, VA, CO, IA and WI. He doesn’t need any of the Obama states on Drudge’s headline to win. He just needs the toss-ups and Wisconsin.

Remember the leaked Obama tactic——declare victory early to demoralize Republicans.

Do not fall for this. If you do, then you must also believe John Kerry won in 2004.

People in the east are just getting out of work. They haven't had much time to vote. Shouldn't they wait until Republicans have a chance to vote, too?

I realize exit polling is essentially garbage, but this is supposed to be from the R area of strength, especially in Ohio.. and the pro-D approx. 35% early voters haven`t been exit polled at all.

Hmm.

Exit polls have gotten dodgy due to a high refusal rate and because the precinct pollsters — usually liberal-minded grad students — tend to select people to poll who are like themselves.

I don’t take any exit poll seriously unless it covers the entire day. I mean, conservatives tend to have jobs and vote later in the day.

The Headline on this is not correct and it does not reflect what the Drudge headline says.

Still no hard numbers on Drudge. I think someone is leading him on. Rove and company on Fox still seem upbeat.

Ok, some folks here need to understand the problem with "exit polls".

1) They are not taken at all polling places.

2) They rely only on those that participate.

3) They are based on nothing else.

Keep in mind that in 2004, the networks kept reporting that Kerry was clearly winning in the exit polls all the way up until Kerry gave his concession speech.

don’t believe the early exit polls. At this time in ‘04 Bob Shrum was telling Kerry “can I be the first to call you Mr. President?” and a MA Congressman said that on the following Sat. he would officially announce for President-elect
Kerry’s Senate seat.

Don’t panic...yet
