That's probably why the Democrats helped choose Akin in the first place. I supported Steelman in the primary because I already believed Akin was an idiot. I honestly didn't expect him to screw up that badly. My wife is a rape survivor and I can't vote for Akin. My friends are 50% long-time Libertarians and 50% Republicans who share my disgust with Akin.

If McCaskill wins by less that the number of votes Dine got, I'm sure we'll feel a little guilty, but not as guilty as if we sent Akin to represent us in the Senate.

Actually Dine himself admitted to police that he used pot regularly but also using meth and cocaine. FOX4KC.com Sept.17,2012 reported this.

I was a Steelman supporter as well. But no point in surrendering seat to Air-Claire and her love of Obi-Care. And that's exactly what a vote for anyone other than Akin will lead to...
