I just voted for RR in Hampden Twp., PA. I vote when the polls open every election. There are usually five or so people waiting for the doors to open. This morning I arrived 10 minutes early. I was 38th to vote. By the time the doors opened the line had easily doubled. As I left the parking lot, there were cars waiting to get a parking space.

I have never seen it like this before. My precinct is heavily Republican, so this is good news. We need to offset the vote in Philadelphia.

Newport News, Virginia here.

No line at my precinct that Bush won by 20 points and McCain won by 3 points. I also voted at 7:30 and was voter number 346 (polls opened at 6:00), which might not be bad. They also had 8 booths and normally only have 2 and I have never in the past encountered a line either. There are huge lines being reported in York County (very republican), Chesapeake (very republican), and Virginia Beach (usually slightly republican but swung for Obama in 2008). Not sure if Bammy’s people are showing up as I haven’t seen any reports in the black precincts, but Romney’s difinitely are. I think we are going to carry Virginia.

Good news anecdote: Avondale, Cincinnati city precinct at 8:15am I was the 83rd person voting. This is 99.9% democrat area.

The elderly woman in front of me said “they didn’t expect a heavy turnout”...

I consider the turnout sparse by then, and recall in 2008 at 6:15am I was like the 200th person in line!

Also, only 2 people were at the table, 2 floaters; in 2008 they had 6.

I have't been on Free Republic in so long that I forgot my password and I can't remember the FR names of people who I want to thank 4 sticking w me while we stood up 4 Mitt Romney for the past 7 years while so many people fought us and put us down...especially around here. But we were right! Thank you Teri Adams, Bill & Mark and all the rest of you true believers from way back!

Mitt Romney will be the 45th president & he will be one of the best presidents we have ever known. And Ann will be a FLOTUS that will make us all proud.

The first president I voted for was Ronald Reagan...and today I take with me my two sons, who are voting for the first time, to vote for Mitt Romney. I am so happy, so excited & so proud!

Voted early this morning to avoid the line tonight. Was #3 in my precinct (rural precinct, roughly 600 registered voters), but got there at 6:15. When I walked out at 6:35 line was 20 deep.

God bless everyone here for voting for LOVE OF COUNTRY (and a little revenge against O haha).

I am in Georgia where it is assumed Romney will win. It is raining hard in my area. I have injuries from a recent car accident and cannot drive.

I am still going to walk the mile and a half to my polling precinct today and pull the lever for Mitt Romney. Proudly.

We are the broken glass people - the other side has nothing.

We will win today.

Obama is in the process of doing a MASSIVE phone bank.

I created an account on the Barrack Obama website 5 years ago. One of the things you have to do when you create an account is to give them your cell phone number… Anyways, I got a text from 62262 saying "Will you make one call for President Obama? Reply CALL and we’ll send you the name & phone number of one voter in a key state who needs to hear from you." Every time I text CALL I get a text with a person's first name, the swing state they are in, their cell phone number and message thanking me for helping and to call them and ask them to vote on Tuesday and if I want to make another call then text CALL. Is Romney doing this because he should??? Basically anyone who has an account on Barrack Obama including foreigners are being asked to do phone banking for Obama in swing states.

This could be the greatest election day for the good people of the USA since 1994 (2010 was good too, but ‘94 was better).

Heading to the polls shortly, where — unless the puupetmasters have “calibrated” the machine to alter, negate or ignore my vote — I get to vote to unseat the following incumbents:

1. A ultra-long term corrupt Rat bastard state legislator,

2. A blithering idiot Rat bastard U.S. Senator,

3. A slimy liberal Rat bastard Congressman,

4. Best of all, I get to vote to attach some duck feathers — LAME DUCK feathers — to that empty monkey suit of a pResident!

Good news, I voted first thing at 7am in Exeter, NH. Voter ID was REQUIRED! The parking lot was already completely packed when I arrived, exceptional turnout... very long lines to vote for the hour and a half I was there... steady stream of voters, then it trailed off as many voted before going to work. I have a feeling there is going to be a huge voter turnout here in NH. I will be going back to hold signs again at noon and beyond.

Exeter is a very liberal community but there were a lot of people supporting Romney, Ryan, Ovid, Guinta and the other Republican candidates. I talked to a UNH student holding RR signs next to me and he said there is very little support or enthusiasm for Obama on the UNH campus. He told me that most of the students "are not interested in supporting him this time around." Or "they are not voting because they just do not care." On the other hand he said the Republicans on campus are very active, enthusiastic and fired up. So we shall see if there is a lot less Obama mania student support this time around.

I live in NJ in a retirement community (Central NJ), I just voted and while doing so asked the poll worker how the turnout was. She said it was higher then 2010 by a good bit and we all know what happened that year. Keep in mind that older folks who comprise the population of the community (all 55 or over) make this community of 2000+ people decidedly Republican or at least “red” voters.

Anecdotal to be sure but I’ll take good news where I can find it even though I know NJ isn’t going Romney this year.

I’m in. DH and I voted around 7:45 this morning. Heavy turnout in suburban Atlanta (solid Romney county. The polling station had Six Flags type lines, but it moved smoothly.

Daughter voting later this morning before heading back to UGA - that’s 3 votes for R&R.

Romney/Ryan wins 538 EV to Obama's 0. That includes DC. Well, I'll give him DC, maybe.

BUT I SAID I’D CRAWL OVER BROKEN GLASS TO VOTE AGAINST OBAMA AND I MEANT IT!

May the heros of Benghazi be proud of how we vote today.

They gave their lives for us, now we need to give our votes for them.

Vote as if the lives of our Military Men and Women depended on it.

Just returned from voting. It was pretty much a fiasco with the guy with the ballots arriving late, only one person checking people in, another hand-copying the information to another sheet, and only eight stations. It took awhile, but once I got to my station (as well as the rest of my family), I filled in that straight Republican bubble; flipped it over and filled in three “against” bubbles on bond issues. Said what I was doing out loud so my husband and kids knew what I was doing as they were voting in the other booths. It was a satisfying moment for us.
