Media discover Benghazi, notice Obama stonewalling By Jennifer Rubin

Well, it finally happened. The mainstream media have figured out that Benghazi is a big story and potentially a serious national security scandal. After weeks of silence, a plethora of mainstream media news stories have popped.
As he has from the get-go, Eli Lake makes news, writing: “On the night of the 9/11 anniversary assault at the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, the Americans defending the compound and a nearby CIA annex were severely outmanned. Nonetheless, the State Department never requested military backup that evening, two senior U.S. officials familiar with the details of military planning tell The Daily Beast.” Lake observes that although assets likely would not have arrived in time to save Ambassador Chris Stevens, “military backup may have made a difference at around five the following morning, when a second wave of attackers assaulted the CIA annex where embassy personnel had taken refuge. It was during this second wave of attacks that two ex-SEALs working for the CIA’s security teams — Glenn Doherty and Tyrone Woods — were killed in a mortar strike.”
However, Lake is no longer the only reporter hammering away at the case.

This is the blatant lie that condemns the liar. The president says here that immediately, “the minute I found out what was happening,” he gave the order to the military, the CIA, to everyone, to secure our personnel in Benghazi and do “whatever we need to.”

Those individuals in the military and intelligence communities who have been leaking to Fox News have likely also been leaking to the big newspapers and networks. While Fox went ahead with its stories the mainstream have sat on what they know so as not to derail Obama’s campaign. This is evidenced by the fact that when reporters from ABC and CBS saw their stories cut from broadcasts they put what they knew on their networks websites.
Where is the autopsy of the Ambassador ?

However, i do not think that the major scandal is benghazi, although it plays a major role.
the biggest scandal is supporting the muslim brotherhood to take over the middle eastern countries and allow the radicals to rule.
reminds me of the peanut farmer ousting the shah of iran and look where that led.
better to have a dictator ruling their countries with an iron fist then to have the islam clerics doing it.

If the "dozens" of attackers, who we know had AK47s, RPGs and light artillery, had simply intended to kill the ambassador I'm pretty sure the entire unguarded staff at the consulate would be dead and there'd be evidence of gunfire and high explosives.
We do know the terrorists attacked the CIA annex with gunfire and artillery.
What were the attackers' objectives at the consulate?
