New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will have to carry the blame if Barack Obama wins four more years in the White House, News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch has claimed.
The only way for Christie to redeem himself is by making it clear before Tuesday's election that he supports his fellow Republican, Murdoch tweeted.
He made his comment after congratulating New York City Mayor Michael Bloomerg for calling off the city's marathon on Friday in a tweet.
"Thanks Bloomberg right decision.@Now Christie, while thanking O, must re-declare for Romney, or take blame for next four dire years.
Some conservatives, including Rush Limbaugh, have slammed Christie for being too fulsome in his praise for Obama so close to the election. They fear it could resonate with voters and help Obama.
Christie, who delivered the keynote speech at the Republican National Convention, was an effective critic of Obama on the campaign trail. He repeatedly praised the president during the Hurricane Sandy ordeal for his leadership.
Limbaugh tore into Christie for his praise of Obama, on his show Thursday.

Agree. The left will twist the truth anytime they can. I doubt the folks hit by Sandy are praising Obama’s being all over the map campaigning.
NKP_Vet, it is THE Rupert Murdock. This has been looked into before and he does regularly tweet under his own name. It is also exactly the sort of thing he’d say. He doesn’t seem to have any shyness about airing his personal views.
Agree.
Yeah, agree. All that bad boy NJ attitude persona has been exposed. Just a little fat tub of blubbering lard. As we say down here in texas, all hat and no cattle. He might as well change over and declare as a Dem cause he’s finished in the Republican Party.
Christie spoke out many times against Obama as president.
With the devastation and many deaths in NJ
acting like the former Governor of Louisiana
would have blown back big time. As a supporter
Of his I would no longer have been.
I would have been very angry with him and any
attacks on him he would have it coming .
he was very professional as any Governor should be to any President in this case.
If Murdoch can’t see difference between professional courtesy and devotion I would recommend he never runs for office .
CHisties boat is sinking.. and he’s taking Ann COulters chances for a best seller down with him..
Ann also likes the inventor of Romney-care...
Must be Political Tourettes.. seemingly normal sometimes..
BArking mad the rest of the time..
Just two old butt buddies...
Christie needs to get a grip. He made a blubbering fool of himself.
FATMAN needs to take the blame if we don’t get the Senate either. When rinos sell out, they typically lose conservative support. He might have thought this this could help him, but the track record for rino party switchers is not so good.
If Romney loses, Christie will go indie. Kind of sounds like Christ all over again.
Obviously.
He don’t care! Didn’tcha hear him? He don’t care!
“he gets hysterical in a crisis”
Yes; he certainly came across as a delicate doily. I know he’s very upset at the destruction in his beloved state. In the whole scheme of things, his beloved state isn’t as important as our beloved America. He needed to find a sweet spot where he could do his job, thank Obama, and be vocal re his support for Romney. It could’ve been done — if he hadn’t been so fragile. Maybe PMS?
Still waiting to hear Ann Coulter’s perspective on this. She was so in the tank for him during primary season. Unless I missed he comments, I’m only hearing crickets.
Christie Kreme can forget ever getting the GOP nod for President. No way no how.
Fat-assed pandering girly-whale. I think I’ll buy him a tube of BROWN lipstick so it will match.
Christie should never have been given a thought as to a presidential candidate once the news was out he appointed a Muslim to the state supreme court. As far as I’m concerned he is a deceitful/smelly skunk politician.I’m hoping if Romney wins he, Romney, gets rid of the odor.
No. I don’t think so. Obunga will consider him merely a useful idiot, which he’s made himself, and will kick him to the curb....where he belongs. The street sweepers will get him. They’ll need a rollback to haul him away, but.....
“Theyll need a rollback to haul him away, but.....”
.
How cruel for you to say that. He can’t help that he maintains a diet of doughnuts.
You really like to kick a RINO when he is down, don’t you?
"....and eat a salad once in a while."
