Despite a carefully narrated version of events rolled out late this week by the CIA claiming agents jumped into action as soon as they were notified of calls for help in Benghazi, security officials on the ground say calls for help went out considerably earlier -- and signs of an attack were mounting even before that.
The accounts, from foreign and American security officials in and around Benghazi at the time of the attack, indicate there was in fact a significant lag between when the threat started to show itself and help started to arrive.
According to the CIA, the first calls for assistance came at 9:40 p.m. local time from a senior State Department official at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, to the CIA annex about a mile away.
But according to multiple people on the ground that night, the Blue Mountain Security manager, who was in charge of the local force hired to guard the consulate perimeter, made calls on both two-way radios and cell phones to colleagues in Benghazi warning of problems at least an hour earlier. Those calls allegedly went to local security contractors who say that the CIA annex was also notified much earlier than 9:40 p.m. U.S. military intelligence also told Fox News that armed militia was gathering up to three hours before the attack began.
One source said the Blue Mountain Security chief seemed "distraught" and said "the situation here is very serious, we have a problem." He also said that even without these phone and radio calls, it was clear to everyone in the security community on the ground in Benghazi much earlier than 9:40 p.m. that fighters were gathering in preparation for an attack.

As much as we need to have the incompetence of this administration revealed, there is no valid reason to disclose specifics about our capabilities and their purpose ...as it only further aids and abets the enemy. This info feels like a set up against Fox, which by reporting it ...took the bait.”
This report is a blockbuster. Here's the smoking gun: "US military intelligence." That means the Pentagon knew three hours before the attack began that there was a serious situation developing in Benghazi. Was the WH informed? The Secretary of State? Panetta? You can bet ALL of them knew. And did nothing.

And the Administration’s response had about as much to do with “INCOMPETENCE” as Fast and Furious had to do with “BOTCHED.”
There was no incompetence involved. There were only deliberate actions and non-actions.

Fox News must not allow this story to die, just as those four American citizens were betrayed to their death.
People need to be tried for treason, and people need to go to jail. This should be one of the first priorities of President Romney, and we must hold his feet to the fire until every single person who knew, did nothing, or was complicit in the cover-up is held accountable.
This is similar to what I have been posting here off and on for several weeks. Others such as yourself have made posts citing credible evidence. I have just been speculating.
My initial reaction was that this was the botched “October Surprise” that was meant to take the attention of voters away from the sad state of the economy. The "bad guys" would hold Christopher Stevens until a week or so before the election and then a heroic rescue would be made. The problem was that in their attempt to smoke him out of the “safe” room the attackers killed him.
To me this would appear to be a classic botched evil Obama plan. It is like the whole birth certificate controversy; they think that they are smarter than everyone else, but they can't even produce a decent forgery of the long form. But the media has given him a free pass on everything. Once again their gross incompetence have resulted in the deaths of brave Americans... fortunately not as many as when the Seal Team helicopter was shot down after Obama outed them for political gain.
Obama is not just incompetent his actions appear to be treacherous in the most extreme manner possible. To me it appears that he and a number of collaborators should be facing prosecution.
