You can also spot the loser as well. Four years ago at this time, John McCain had those slumped shoulders and that fake "Jerry Sandusky" smile on him as he went through the motions of his final rallies.
Well I saw some video of the beaming Mitt Romney tonight at that Ohio rally and that was the look of a winner. Evidently he has been told by his team that the internals are looking very good and that he can expect to be the president-elect in less than 100 hours from now.
If Pennsylvania falls into place, that will be icing on the cake. But regardless of which way PA goes, Romney is on his way.
As an aside, if PA goes to Romney, we will likely see MI, MN, NV, and WI go to Romney as well. If that is the case, we all need to send Axlerod some dull razors.
Love your post...it made my night! :)
You are the greatest man who has ever lived! I’m sick of being depressed, and after reading your post, I am happy and confident. God bless ALL freepers... Even those I’ve argued with.
I would guess that you and I are about the same age.
I saw the same thing you see, and I saw it as early as the 3rd Debate. Remember the end when 0bama hugged Moochelle? It had the “it was fun while it lasted” look. Romney looked like a winner, Obama a loser, and both looked like they knew it.
My take was that through their expressions, we saw the internal polls they had just seen earlier that day.
I was planning on sending a package of lady shicks to ax, c/o the white house, COD
I'm going to print out your post and put it above my coffee pot.
Rudy G. said on Greta tonight that the Romney campaign - and he's "worked on many campaigns" - just has the feel of a winning campaign.
With his mustache on the line,
Axelrod, his comments, he will redefine.
To escape the year without a shave,
He'll lie, and cheat, and misbehave.
Burma Shave.
“...president-elect in less than 100 hours from now. “
I DO like the sound of that!
Omg I saw that same look in Mitt’s eyes this morning. He looked very energized and his smile was a lot bigger than usual.
I hope you’re right. In 1980, Jimmy Carter was told the morning of election day that he would lose. In 1988, George Bush was told the Friday before.
