Any Ohioans out there??
Romney rally in West Chester, Obama in Hilliard..significance?? Just trying to gauge the strategy, demographics etc..
Just noticed, Obama in Lima & Springfield too..
West Chester = Cincy suburb
Hilliard = Columbus suburb
Romney had 12,000 in Defiance Ohio (small town), 8,000 in Sidney, ohio(really small town), and 4,000+ in marion, oh (a small town) and it was a fairly small facility and people were standing out in the rain even as the event was going on.
Romney pulled more people to Marion, oh than Obama got to a columbus suburb...haha
Hilliard is a suburb of Columbus. West Chester is the home of John Boenher and is one county north of Hamilton (Cincinnati).
The sitting president having a crowd under 4,000 in Columbus four days before the election is a little shocking.
West Chester is in Butler County (Boehner's district, in fact), a very GOP area. Running up the vote totals in SW Ohio will help to offset Cuyahoga County's Dem totals. Hillard is suburban Columbus, but I think Barry went there just because it was in-between his other visits (Lima, Springfield).
