Makes me think we need a levin Lounge phone tree for just such an event...then again...if someone is in the thick of it, Im guessing phones are out too ...cell towers are the FIRST thing to go (at least they were when the 35W bridge collapsed here!)

I read on a thread yesterday (maybe Rush?) that efforts are being made to deny service to FR, and that the resulting problems with posting and slow speed is a network issue rather than a server issue.

I am, of course, a technical dodo, so it may have been wrong—this is just what I remember reading.
