I don’t believe Axelrod for one second. Let’s even say they edge this out. There is no chance Obama is enjoying these angry campaign events with a couple thousand people. He was bigger than life four years ago pulling in 60,000 at many stops. He knows he’s lost all that as he looks out at crowds 10% of the size. He loved being the Messiah.
He's like an 80's rock band hitting the county fair circuit now. Maybe next year he can give speeches at bar mitzvahs and sweet sixteen parties in his abundant free time.
