Five days before the election, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has ruled out trying to work with Mitt Romney should he win next week.
"Mitt Romney's fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his 'severely conservative' agenda is laughable," Mr. Reid said in a statement on Friday, trying to puncture Mr. Romney's closing election argument that he'll be able to deliver on the bipartisanship President Obama promised in 2008 but has struggled to live up to.
Mr. Reid, a Nevada Democrat and a Mormon, like Mr. Romney, has become the Republican presidential nominee's chief critic this campaign, at one point accusing him of failing to pay taxes a charge that Mr. Romney has refuted.

No problem. Romney can quietly assign the FBI and IRS to look into the Reid family's influence peddling and pay-to-play scams in Nevada.

Well, that is a pretty good endorsement of Romney from Reid. If Reid hates him, Romney might not be too bad...
Here is hoping for a Republican Senate and an early use of the “nuclear option.”

Good. There will be no “reaching out to my friends on the other side of the aisle” a la John McCain.

Good enough. That means that Hairy Reed has two options - 1) quit his laughable job as Senate majority leader, or 2) grow up and be an American. From the outset, the peaceful transfer of power has been the hallmark of American democracy around the world. If Reed doesn't know or see that, he needs to get out now.
Of course, Romney (should he win), also has options. He can treat the Dems like zero treated the 'Pubbies and simply refuse to work with them; allocating them the "back seat". Then we'll see how anxious Reed and the Dems will be to work with Romney when the shoe is on the other foot!

Even if they lose the Senate he’ll still be someone we have to deal with as Minority Leader. Even if the DemoRats replace him as Majority/Minority Leader is Hoyer any better. They will also have the MSM to carry their water.

This is all orchestrated theater folks. Reid and Romney will both do exactly what Salt Lake tells them.
They will destroy the 1st Amendment with anti-"blasphemy" laws, openly under the guise of appeasing islam, secretly designed to conceal the shameful secrets of mormonism.

If it does come to this, the strategy must be de-funding of government programs and departments by the House and EOs (and elimination of zero’s EOs) by Romney. There will be no budgets, but there must be CRs. Even Reid would not allow a relatively smaller Levithian to shut down. However. the CRs MUST reflect reduced spending via de-funding.
If Reid is still in control of the Senate next year, his words will make it easier for the GOP House and Romney to follow this strategy and not give in to the Left.

Someone should ask Dingy Harry what part of Romney’s “Radical” agenda don’t you want to work with....Creating more Jobs for Americans? So sick of hearing people talk about Republicans Obstructing in Congress and not getting “things Done”. As always the same standards are never applied to Dems
