That CIA story was funny. It took the assets in the safe house 25 minutes to be ready to respond and drive toward the distress call at the mission. When you looked at a map however, the two buildings appeared to be no more then a 5-10 minute drive apart. Heck, someone could have started walking as soon as the distress call came in and made it to the mission faster. So my guess is even the CIA was held up for some reason. Bottom line is Americans died and the Ambassador was left to die. No excuses for that mess.

Bret Baier’s show has just had an illustrated timeline of all the actions on Sept 11 & 12 in and out of Benghazi. There was a brief delay of the first response, waiting for permission, iirc.
