Yes, I know, but I'm using Wasserman's term. Also, votes are votes, and turnout is turnout. :) My question is, are the comparisons seen here 2012 AB vs 2008 AB+EV or AB vs AB only. Hoping we're not seeing an apples and oranges comparison.

In our Virginia county, AB voting will exceed our record 2008 AB voting totals. In 2008, more than 61% voted for Palin/McCain and less than 37% for Barry and joke’in Joe. This means more AB votes for R&R than Barry & Joe based on the precinct numbers for 2012 (than 2008).
