New Jersey Democrat Sen. Menendez along with two female "friends" were reported to have hang-glided off of Angel Falls in an attempt to have a threesome on the way down using only one hang glider. A Christian missionary to Venezuela reportedly urged the Sen. to reconsider his behavior and was summarily arrested by Venezuelan authorities.
Other extreme hang gliders who were alongside the trio were reportedly told that the event was to bring attention to the lack of good men in Venezuela to take care of the needs of women there. Sen. Menendez told the other extreme glider his party intended to provide for the needs of as many single women as possible and more fact-finding missions would be held in the future before saying he was really, very, very busy and had to go.
