Wouldn’t it be great if there were a record that showed that there were monster storms hitting New York and New Jersey long before now? Wouldn’t that be great?

(The most fascinating one is the one from around the 1300s that they deduced from geological analysis. I wonder if Al wants to blame that one on the overindustrialization of the Lenape tribes. I’d like to see him try.)

I really think Gore has sub-average intelligence.
Listen to him talk sometime (sorry for suggesting something so painful!). Maybe Gore is drug addled from his college days. I remember reading an interview with either a roommate or a dorm floor neighbor who partied with Gore. This guy said Gore was stoned all the time! (I believe it, he sounds stoned now!) It's hard say there is much of a lively mind behind the delivery and the words.

I remember during the Bush-Gore debates thinking to myself, ‘this guy makes Bush seem to be Cicero!’!

Thank you for posting that-it should be required reading for all news reporters-facts are wonderful things...

Just an observation-why have we not figured out in all these 10’s of thousands of years that crowding ourselves and buildings around the shoreline of the ocean isn’t the best way to avoid a major catastrophe?
