I hope you are right, but we shouldn’t underestimate the impact this may have. Our country comes together during a crisis and rallies around the president. Whether that translates to votes next week, only time will tell. But everyone here who is discounting the impact of this on the election is not grasping the significance.

The hurricane bump will be small.

Obama will get that bump is a few NE states he was going to win anyway. Like New York and New Jersey. Pennsylvania is in play but unaffected by the storm

Can’t think of a better example of biased media. In Katrina the dem governor in La. screwed her state and pinned it on Bush. So the media got people to hate Bush.

Now the storm just happened, Obama hasn’t done a damn thing and certainly nothing out of the ordinary. And Obama is already getting credit? For what? Nature?
