The mainstream media is dependably tough on the President of the United States, assuming he’s a Republican and/or hasn’t been elected yet.
During a weekend press gaggle aboard Air Force One, White House reporters were naturally concerned about Hurricane Sandy and questioned the White House Press staff about the president’s hurricane preparations.
But one reporter was anxious to know if they were prepared for Mitt Romney.
“Are you worried about the possible politicization of the storm response?” the reporter asked. “We’re a week out from the election. Governor Romney might say something about how you guys are responding to it or going to rallies and that stuff.”
OUT:“What about your gaffes?”
IN: “What about your potential gaffes?”
They’ve gone beyond just running interference for Obama and trying to scuttle stories that are bad for his reelection prospects. [cough cough Benghazi cough cough] Now they’re taking the initiative and asking if there’s anything they can do to help the Obama campaign. We already knew that’s how they see their role, but it’s nice to have it out in the open.
The MSM is irreparably broken. Fortunately, the Internet was designed to route around damage.

I am in New Jersey - right in the middle of this thing. The Weather Channel keeps putting the Homosexual Communist Muslim on the screen every 15 minutes. He gives incredible advice! Like "hurricanes have high winds." Gee, what would we do without him!?
The Community Organizer isn't fit to carry Gov Chris Christie's XXXL jockstrap.
The Weather Channel should offer Romeny equal time to discuss the storm, the best precautions and how the impact of the storm would differ if Obama were not president.
I pray to Almighty God this evil man is sent packing. I CANNOT listen to him speak for even 2 seconds. It is akin to nails on a chalkboard.
My son had to watch the DVR of the last debate for his homework assignment. I had to leave the house. I am serious.
If Obama were not president, a lot more people would be missing work because of the storm.
I was thinking more along the line that many more people would have jobs.
