That's now a crime???

Ah, the good ol' days...When you wrote your Social Security number on your check!...Which had your name, address, phone number, and bank account number on it!

Of course back in those days, someone pretending to be you was called an imposter, and anyone giving him money on credit was called a sucker. Anyone coming after you to collect the debt was called a fool, and anyone who ruined your credit by saying the debt was yours was called a libeler.

(Wonder who's behind the change in the laws concerning imposters? I'm betting it's the suckers, fools, and libelers.)
