The people making fun of the seriousness aren't meteorologists. They think Irene was nothing but we STILL have bridges and damage from it that hasn't been repaired. And Sandy IS different. They're also laughing at the places closed already while I'm sitting here listening to wind whistle around the corner of the house. No rain yet.

They're sure not, they're idiots and I know of what I speak.
You don't make fun of hurricanes and the people in their path.
That is truly sick, people will lose their lives and people will lose most of what they own.
It is just the way it always happens, nothing funny about.

I can barely get my page to refresh, let alone link to anything. Those people making fun of this storm are clueless. I never dreamed Katrina would hit us so far away from the Coast, but it did, and how! The last hurricane hit us too, and that was a “tropical” storm. Shame on those people.
