“there comes a time when it is of Utmost importance to NATIONAL SECURITY of the United States, and that time is now for Panetta to come forth and speak up.
He knows what Obama did, and he must be aware of what he is capable of in the future should he be re elected.”
On Friday Obama told Denver’s WUSA TV that on 9-11-12 he gave the directives to “make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to” to ensure their safety in Benghazi.
Ohio Senator Rob Portman told the FOX News Sunday that we need to find out if this order was ever issued: “There was a shocking breakdown operationally not having the security there in the first place. And not to respond to these guys and their pleas for help for seven hours during a firefight. It’s unbelievable. And, now we’re hearing that the President of the United States, based on his own words, issued a directive immediately after he found out about the firefight saying he wanted to be sure the people on the ground were safe and they were getting what they needed. It didn’t happen. This means that either the president’s order was not followed. Which would be a breakdown in terms of the White House procedure or it means the order wasn’t issued. We need to find out about this.”
Former Assistant Secretary of Defense Bing West said: "if Obama gave the order to secure the consulate in Benghazi on 9-11 there must be a paper trail."
By this admission by Obama that he gave a directive, he has painted THE TARGET on himself, no, if, and's or but's about this.
That statement pins himself into a corner, there can be no excape. He has to prove it. (I'm sure he is scrambling to FIX the problem/s).
