Obama is betting that his propaganda machine is good enough to cover him for just long enough to get by for another week.
The supposedly “factual” polling data has him at over 40% everywhere in the USA.
We may have already reached the tipping point into anarchy.
It is going to be close.
It’s going to make a difference in the elction...despite the polls. People are not happy, all over the country. The fact that he will try and evade it and “slip by” is just going to make them madder.
The Swift Boat vets were a close knit and well connected group and they were able to (understandably) expose and impact Kerry.
This is an order of magnitude or two worse.
Precisely because he is avoiding it, it will gen up notice, anger, resentment...and impact.
But, time will tell. I believe there is a good possibility of a very strong Romney win, and I pray, along the lines of II Chron 7:14 that it is so.
