And hey...do any of you remember seeing a person’s video come out that was captured on some Libyan’s phone, maybe in the week or two after the attack? I remember seeing a video of a group of people outside of a house waiting to hear if the Ambassador was alive or dead...however, the voices were giddy and almost laughing. It was sickening to me, even though I couldn’t understand the language. And iIrc, wherever I got the link from, it was mentioned something about -— see, here’s evidence that the Ambassador was not in the hospital...he had been carried through the streets and then he was taken into a house where he was being raped, etc.
This is so hard to even type, because of what might have happened to our US Ambassador, but I haven’t seen that video pop up anywhere since.
Do any of you know what I might have seen? Anyone else see this?

EXCEPT rhe attackers didn’t even TRY to kidnap Stevens. When they came into the compound, they grabbed containers of diesel fuel and set the place on fire. The intention was murder from the jump.

Only two places could have called off the attack at that point; the WH situation command (based on POTUS direction) or AFRICOM commander based on information directly from the target area.

Whoever gave the order to not engage made a choice and decided that the lives of four Americans were not worth as much as something else.

The Fox reporter (Griffin?) reported this (the laser painting) already this morning. Said she had gotten it from boots on the ground in Benghazi; it was presumed that it was from some of the people who had been rescued by the former SEALs.
What a tragedy!!! I can't imagine leaving these dedicated Americans serving our Country in one of the most hostile parts of the world left to die a horrific death for the benefit of political ideology.
If Obama saw this massacre and then hopped on Air Force One to go to Vegas, Letterman and Beyonce/JZ gigs he needs to be tried as a war criminal.
My guess is that Obama’s handlers thought it best to do nothing (leaves no “action” that can be criticized), and repercussions can be diverted and explained away (wasn’t our fault, did what we could, not enough info, etc.)

If the AFRICOM commander (a full general, I assume?) takes the blame, how was he smart enough to get to four stars?
