I heard, JUST ONE TIME, and I can’t remember where, that those two former SEALs were there trying to find a weapons cache. I don’t know whether that was just a rumor or what. With this administration, anything is possible I guess.
It sounds like the CIA had an op going on there attempting to secure some of the 20,000 MANPADs that the government had before it was overthrown. It is a worthy objective to keep those from getting to the wrong hands.

According to a source on the ground at the time of the attack, the team inside the CIA annex had captured three Libyan attackers and was forced to hand them over to the Libyans. U.S. officials do not know what happened to those three attackers and whether they were released by the Libyan forces.
I heard about the Al Qaeda fast and furious connection from Glenn Beck and it does make sense..Obama doesn’t want his hands dirty with another fast and furious scandal..I think a part of Obama wants to lose because if he were to win he knows he would have to go through an Impeachment hearing..I think in a weird way he is hoping he loses
