LOL...Of course it is. The conservative “spin” is, Does anyone want to hazard a guess as to how many more lives would have been lost had NOT Woods disobeyed his (unlawful?) orders? Who exactly was going to rescue those Americans still trapped at the Consulate/mission?
I wonder if it is even worse than that. The recent Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer(A Marine) was ordered FOUR times to not enter the battle (2010, Afghanistan) in an attempt to rescue his squad from an ambush. After the fourth refusal he said “F*&^ it” and drove in with his driver.
I wonder if the two ex SEALS nearby heard the attack and called in for permission to assist and were denied a few times as well before they said “screw it - we’re going to help”.
