“For the United States military to say that they were 480 miles away and they couldn’t do anything, and they couldn’t move one aircraft in 8 hours?” Really? With this feckless gaggle, that wouldn't surprise me at all. What do they EVER do right? GWB would've had aircraft in the area in minimal time.

GWB and the Pentagon would have been prepared for this probable Libyan scenario., IMO.
This was an unarmed consulate which to an Islamist is like sending an engraved invitation to attack. Had it been defended, they would never have considered what they did. Peace only exists with strength.
