Am I missing something here? The entire transcript was very positive and then on the last line we get this. Did you lift this line from 2008?
I got the impression that he was saying that we need to continue the fight as if we are behind.
That was right at the end. Just before this he was talking to a woman who gave him some grief because he was sorta too confident or something like that, as I recall. He asked whether she wanted him to be more pessimistic, and she said no, BUT we need to not rest and think everything will be OK. We have to push to the end - not be complacent.
This summary is my recollection and not a quote of course.
So then he said this last line.
I didn’t perceive it as too sarcastic on his part. Maybe a little, but mainly he was just trying to get her point... Fight to the end...
At least this is what it seems like to me...
