Oh, so ... A perm Planned Parenthood rep-overseer -- would ensure it'd ne'er expand into the abortion arena, eh...is that what you're selling? By not vetoing that Planned Parenthood rep, he knew that PP rep & the rest of the advisory board would be setting the abortion standards for coverage.
Your claim that "abortion" is not in the bill is just like ObamaCare's "details" emerging later...and it's rather sickening to see you play this socialist game with language and lives.
So you want to try to pretend that Romney bears responsibility for abortions that the Mass courts added to the state health care without him, because it opened a door?
"Added to?" The Courts had already addressed the need for abortion coverage in MA pre-RomneyCare, but 'twas based on Medicaid standards of rape and incest only.
Romney & his cohorts keep hiding under the "courts mandated this" ... failing to divulge how few -- %-wise -- those mandates covered in the # of overall abortions.
Nope. You are either ignorant or deceitful, not sure which, but I’ll help you out anyways.
The MassHealth Payment Advisory Board that Planned Parenthood got a spot on has nothing to do with making policy or determining covered procedures. Zero. The only thing it does is review payment rates and make recommendations. It doesn’t even have any authority over rates. Zip authority over anything.
