Why should Boeing have kept it under wraps? It’s not like this is new or secret technology. Eureka Aerospace demonstrated similar technology that would allow police to fry an automobile’s electronics from a squad car or helicopter, over 7 years ago.

This is nothing that our enemies weren’t already aware of. This is as groundbreaking as mounting machine guns on biplanes. Everyone knew it was coming long before the guns were mounted on the first plane.

Boeing spokesman quoted as saying today turned science fiction into science fact. The technology marks a new era in modern warfare.

So while the thought isn’t new, Boeing’s technology certainly is. Our enemies knew about stealth technology, but we didn’t go around talking about it. I just think future military applications should be kept under wraps.
