I want to know if there were military brass present in the situation room and what they advised at the time. Somebody dispatched an un-armed drone and I want to know why they didn’t dispatch an armed drone. They could have dispersed the attackers with one well placed missle.
Heads need to roll. Literally. This whole thing smacks of treason.
There is no earthly reason not to have saved those men, and there’s no way that al qaeda group could have come close to matching the firepower of a coordinated American intervention.
I agree. Military in the room would have provided timely advice, and there’s no way it could have been that we had no capability to succeed.
