When Schieffer asked the question about what each of them would do if Israel was attacked, Obama said he'd stand by Israel. He didn't elaborate, he just said he'd stand with her. Romney on the other hand said:
"Well, first of all, I want to underscore the same point the president made, which is that if I'm President of the United States, when I'm President of the United States, we will stand with Israel. And if Israel is attacked, we have their back, not just diplomatically, not just culturally, but militarily. That's number one.
Oh, no. Obama elaborated. He very clearly said we'd stand with Israel after an attack, which means ... not before an attack.
