” Bride-of-Frankensein-Wasserman-Schultz on Fox saying the biggest difference between O and R is that O is so pro-Israel LOL”
Uh, you already have the jewish vote, Ms. Hairdo. Slippin tho, ain’t it ?
Obama: “ Neener neener neener !”
Romney: “ Uh, I think not “
Some of the conventional thought tonight was that Obama was laying in wait, for Romney to make a mistake on that topic. Then when Obama couldnt entice him into the trap, probably where Obamas best material centered on, I think Obama got frustrated.
I tell ya, I think Romneys tactic may have worked far better than I generally would have thought it would.
I think Mitt saw the polling that shows more people believe O has incorrectly handled Libya, and figured why get into a “ Clintonian” debate where O would
site intelligence failures, and deliver his Axelrod/focus group tested DEM voter response.
To me Mitt was going for the broader “ you failed policy “ picture and I think he
painted that well
” I see the turmoil in the Middle-East, Iran getting close to having a nuke, and four dead foreign service people. And I wonder how anyone could think this president has things under control
He bows to our enemies. He refused to meet with our friends. He insults Great Britain at every opportunity. He sides with the Arabs.
He thinks were a colonialist nation, never did anything good for other nations, and apologizes for us time after time.”
I hope the epopel see this. I think they will.
Drudge has a large picture of Obama posted, looks like an anomaly in his ear
That is one weird looking inside of an ear shot.
Certainly could lead one to believe he had an ear piece.
I believe that those folks who raised their hands in support of obomas lies about his take on our foreign policy did so because he sounded like he knew what he was talking about.
There were 25 in the group. First show of hands on how many voted for O in 2008 was 12.
As fast as luntz does these counts , and asks questions ,it’s easy to get the impression a majority supported O as winner of the entire debate.
To me its the same as offering a lifeline for you past decision. The O voters get to pick Romney for the economy, and then him on foreign policy.
Luntz needed to clearly state this debate was x % on foreign policy, and x on economy.
With that mix in mind who , in your mind.
1) won the debate
2) won your vote
HA! It isn't in my atlas, either. HA!
But, Obama sounds like a regular visitor with saying it like that!
And, he still has two weeks to hit the topics a lot would like for him to do during the debate.
In a different venue, he would have the opportunity to hit him hard on these topics.
With no Obama immediant petulant response. Just a guess.
I'm agreeing with the poster to which you are referring.
I think Romney had to walk a fine line, based on "first do no harm" to himself.
To argue with Obama, I think it might have looked like a grade school argument.
Filling up debate with tons of topics, and counters, wouldn't help Romney.
I agree with he just needed to look presidential. Obama, with his snarky looks did not look presidential. He looked like an angry kid. Not a good look.
Obama was his own worst enemy. I think he knew he was out of control of the debate and that Romney OWNED him. Obama OWNED himself.
There are 2 weeks for Romney to hit on the other topics.
I hope Romney takes full advantage of the next two weeks. Don't get wobbly now, Romney!
What an arrogant turd.'
What you said. I flinched when he said this.
Obama is a loser doperman.
Something tells me Romney is backing off of this for the sake of Bill Clinton making a phone call to him. I smell the Clintons behind this."
Very interesting, My Favorite Headache. Intriguing angle.
It would end the interruptions too -- since Obama likes to try and throw off his opponent by mindlessly jabbering while adults try to have conversations, just leave his microphone off until his official time to reply begins.
Good idea...Obama would go berserk! HA, HA!
Obama would totally lose it!
No, but twice Romney said in essence, give those countries money to change them and they will be our allies. This will come back to haunt him beginning tomorrow. If he really believes this, and he must since he said it twice, he is just wrong and wasting more money we have to borrow from some country to do it. Those statements were stunning - when did he come up with buying off countries - haven't heard that until tonight."
I was kind of stunned by this...like a punch in the gut.
Did funds to Egypt help them be friendly with us.
Also, US is broke. Where will the funds come from to pay off countries we want to be friends with.
Sounds like a loser strategy. Maybe I don't see the BIG picture.
Well, you are playing with semantics.
Check this out.
According to the official U.S. Marine Corps website, every Marine is STILL required to complete a bayonet training program ... because “the weapon becomes just as effective [as a rifle] in close combat situations.”

I seem to recall Obama said...
“Shortly into his Presidency Obama gave an interview where he said if he hasn’t solved the nations economic problems within three years it’s going to be a one term Presidency.”
Why hasn’t Romney made a TV ad with THIS ?
Your point that Bush was elected twice touches on a sore point with me. How can you blow an election like that, against the likes of Gore and Kerry?
If you’re only able to win squeakers against them, Lordy!
Now we’re seeing Romney’s tactics, and if the press is right, he may only win a squeaker against the likes of Obama no less.
Yikes! A good well spoken Conservative should be able to beat Obama by 20 points.
There’s such a wealth of soft spots to pick at.
Romney’s inability to capitalize on them is a real red flag for me. His instincts are no better than Bush’s during a debate. At least this model has no marbles in it’s mouth.
Then if Romney does get elected, it’s a given he won’t recognize Conservatism then, even if it if bites him on the nose.
I guess. It’s always hard for me to watch folks miss all the warning signs though. I just hope the economy trumps the foreign policy issues. With people’s lack of mental power these days, I’m not convinced they will.
We’re 90% of the way to ‘Idiocracy’ from the look of things.
It’s a marvel to watch the Leftist mind at work.
Supports Israel? One has to wonder what this clown would have to do to convince her he was anti-Israel.
I tend to agree with you, but there is the chance we’re just so hopeful of an Obama crash and burn, that we’re overlooking some negatives.
Romney left a wealth of negative things to talk about, on the cutting room floor. I sure hope his team is smarter than I am. So far I’m certainly not convinced of it.
