Mitt could offer some preemptive leverage by citing 'war mongering' 0bama's bombing of Libya without Congressional approval. Mitt could say, "What gives you a right to war on other countries without any input from our Congress? You did that in Libya and what did we get out of it?.. Four dead Americans."
Romney needs to remind Americans during the debate that the POTUS must not engage in any wars without approval from Congress!
Kinetic military action ...
Romney already paid a compliment to Clinton over his missile strike after the embassy bombings in the 90's (for which he had no congressional approval).
I don't think he'd use that approach.
See Revolting cat!'s post # 14 -
If it happened just ATER the election, it would include an order for Martial Law - which means neither Congress nor anyone would be unable to do ANYTHING for 6 months.
You don't even want to contemplate what these people would have done by May of next year. Our country would be dead.
Yes, gun ownership is at an all time high - but remember, they plan on having thousands of drones in the sky - and they have been practicing on Pakistan.
And hundreds of sheriff/police stations have S.W.A.T. vehicles and teams - also been practicing - especially on family dogs.
And they are ready to sign a gun control traty with the UN - and the Blue Helmets would be brought in to control us - they won't have the reticence our own officers would.
But they may be stopped by people in place in DC - not everyone hates this country and freedom. They may be Socialists - but they aren't Muslims.
Got you bug out bags packed?
