How likely is it that we kick Reid out next time?

Reid was re-elected in 2010, which means he won't be up again until 2016. The only ways for him not to be Senate Majority Leader is for either the Republicans to take the majority, or for the Democratic Caucus to pick someone else.

Romney is up 9.3 points in Montana in the RCP average. I think your “analysis” has more to do with you still pouting about the 2012 GOP Primary results.

Also, Sens like Manchin, Lieberman, or Dems vulnerable in 2014 can be persuaded to vote the right way on important tax reform legislation and energy issues.

Lieberman's retiring. The Dems will probably get the seat.

Drop the PPO Democrat poll out of the RCP average and Brown is ahead.

I’m not hearing good things about Warren/Brown right. It looks like she has broken out somewhat in the last 10 days to a 5 or 6 point lead.

Polls are all over the place, but it's still Massachusetts. Any Republican winning an election in that state has to be considered a fluke. Brown has done everything he possibly could to deserve reelection except put a D after his name. And that failure alone might just be enough to defeat him.

That PPP poll was a mess. Brown is still going to have a difficult time winning in Mass.

Brown is well liked in Mass....it’s just that this being a presidential election year with Obama on the ticket is killing him.

And that alone could be enough. He won in an off year special election. Running during a presidential election year won't help him. Not in that state.

If the RATs hold the Senate look for Reid to try to eliminate the filibuster.

I don't really understand how the republican candidate could possibly be behind in Massachusetts, Missouri, Wisconsin with the awful candidates that the democrats are fielding.

This is why the Senate, Prez, SCOTUS, aren't anymore worth a bucket of warm spit. This is a nation on its way to big time downgrade.

If the GOP cannot retake the Senate, then it is better if Obama wins. Having a republican take over the helm of the Titanic ten minutes before the iceburg (Obamacare)hits without any way of changing course would be a very bad thing. The MSM will paint the dismal economic outcomes as a result of Obamacare on the GOP if Romney is in the WH.

It's not about the Senate or the White House, it's about the Supreme Court. For that, you need the White House more than the Senate.

Even without the Senate., Romney will still just stop Obamacare (at least the mandate) by executive order.

“LOL, if you looked at my tagline you’d see I support Romney.....”
***************************************************************************
Funny—you say you support Romney yet your posting history is full of shots you’ve been taking at him. It’s almost as if you’re trying to discourage conservatives from voting for him by painting him as anything but conservative. As the old saying goes, with such “friends”, who needs enemies!

“Very unfair statement made to JediJones. An apology is due.....”

Sorry, I’m not apologizing to anyone who continually takes pot-shots at Obama’s main opponent.

I don’t think my posting history is “full” of potshots against Romney by any stretch of the imagination. If it is, go ahead and post the quotes with the dates they were posted and let people judge for themselves. Don’t forget to post when I praised Romney for speaking out for free speech after the Egyptian embassy attack, defended him during the 47% flap, and said that he would probably get a 5-point bounce due to his great performance in the first debate. I am still proud that I’m not a shill for any Republican when they stray from conservative positions or when they run a bad campaign, as Romney was doing before the first debate. If you want to boot me out for speaking out against Romney sometimes, I hope you’ll boot everyone out of the party who participated in bashing Todd Akin relentlessly including Romney and the RNC chairman.
