I just wanted to thank you again for all your research and for keeping us updated on the numbers. I hope you don’t pay any attention to that nasty poster because there are many FReepers that appreciate you contribution to this forum.
Thanks again.
What are you telling fatima? I remember your posts from 08 as well and you blew it brother... no one should put any stock in any prediction you
make.
But I sure didn't blow it in 04, did I? Among all the freakout on FR on Election Day I was pretty much one.
But I sure didn't blow it in 04, did I? Among all the freakout on FR on Election Day I was pretty much on.
Don’t you have better things to do than to harass people on FR? And then you accuse them of being a troll?
How about expressing your opinion and moving on? Don’t be a nagging pest. Pinging Jim Robinson was a bit over the top as if he would come and take your side?
Is this how you spread your love?
VA has a few areas that can swing the state. Tidewater is filled with democrats, more “minorities” than lefties who will vote how the party of free stuff tells them. Only a robust military and retiree vote can swing this area. NoVa has a disproportionate amount of single, over-educated, un-wedable women that have come to depend on the govt for free stuff. Like the battered addict, they keep returning to the relationship they’re convinced they deserve (democrats) versus the one they need because it’s easier. Every other ad we get has something to do with free pills, rubbers and abortions but no economic plans, no growth just free junk. Funny thing is that they live here because it’s more affordable than DC and MD and then they demand the free stuff that makes MD and DC more expensive. I have one living next to me now. She bitches about the “rednecks” and “racists” but won’t move back to “civilization” because she can’t afford it. If she keeps voting democrat, she won’t be able to afford here either.
Remember that the Left cannot be trusted in any way. Keep hitting FL hard, team!
An interesting analysis on Hamilton County, Ohio, from Doug Ross this morning. It’s called: “ANALYZING OHIO: A Bellwether District in a Bellwether County in a Bellwether State.”

Rs are up several thousand votes net among absentees already, and if Ds her can’t lead in bys tee, they have no hope on Election Day.
Since I consider you both FRiends, allow me to step in here:
Larry is an honest man and any accusations otherwise are baseless. Though his performance in ‘08 should give us caution, his performance in ‘04 when thousands of people on this site were sure by Noon that John Kerry was going to be the 44th President and Larry knew otherwise says just as much about him. Moreover, his prediction of Ohio going red is based on the exact information he and many others (including myself) ignored at our peril four years ago: Absentee and early voting data. In 2008, we tended to ignore indications that Dems were showing up early and told ourselves, “Republicans all show up on election day, no worries if the Dems vote early.” This time the Dems aren’t showing up for early voting in anything like the numbers we saw in 2008.
It’s possible he’s wrong this time, too, but that would require Republicans staying home in droves or showing up and voting for Obama in droves, AND Democrats showing up in numbers on election Day that are fantastically large compared to the early voting numbers they’re posting. First, do you believe that’s going to happen? Second, even if it did, would that mean that Larry was a lib plant for thinking Republicans would vote against Barack Obama after four years of this mess?
You really should call back your accusation and apologize.
You disappeared for hours after that debacle. When you came back you acted like an ignoramus.
I hope no one takes you seriously this year. If you wind up being correct in every prediction, people should ascribe it to coincidence.
A lot of us were wrong In 08 because we just couldn’t wrap our minds around the fact that Americans would elect a Marxist snake oil salesman hiding an alarming past.
The central fact of 08 that most affected my OH analysis was that I never expected 25% of Republicans to vote Dem and you know what? Neither did any of my current critics.
Who would expect 25% of Republicans would vote for a candidate who sat in “G-damn America” Wright’s church for 25 years and called him a mentor.
According to CNN 2008 exit polls, McCain won the crossover battle, but lost the independents by 8. Having said that. with Romney winning the indies, Romney should win.
Thank you Chunga.
I can ping whoever I want.
fatima - no one knows the future. Even pollsters call it wrong sometimes - you need to give this a rest...
GOPJ,I am responding to people who posted to me on the 20th.Been a little busy after that. You want to respond to my pings on this thread.? I never predicted a win so I am 100 percent right.LS predicted a McCain win so he is 50 percent right.
