Well Kasich does not believe he is a success and is laying low so that he can get ready for his reelection in 2014. He tried a Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker ploy to do away with pulic employee collective bargaining BUT he included police and fire. A statewide referendum defeated his reforms due to the call to “save” safety forces. Walker did not include safety forces, and all he had to fight was the teachers union. Therefore, Kasich is doing nothing for Romney.
All of Ohio’s statewide elected office holders are Republican, including Attorney General and former U S Senator Mike DeWine (who is also laying low).
I cannot figure it out. If they are waiting until the last minute, they miss all the early voters.
Meanwhile Ohio is flooded with both Obamas, Biden, Bill Clinton, Bruce Springsteen, etc.
Where are Palin? Gingrich?
Because R&R dont need them to win. Worst thing to do is have Palin on the stump. She brings nothing to the table right now, besides us here on FR she is (falsely) taken as a female dunce and ring wing loonbird. Keep Sarah exactly where she is, no need for 2008 retreads. Even Sarah knows this, she is enjoying Obama disintegrating as much or more than us
I don’t trust Dick Morris as far as I can spit up-wind.
If Romney wins Michigan, which I think is possible, he’ll win Ohio as well. Demographics are too similar with more inner city areas in Michigan. Detroit along is bigger than all of Cleveland and Cincy combined, and all of it is like East Cleveland. The Republican base areas in Ohio are stronger than those in Michigan. There are a lot more places like our Ottawa and Livingston County in Ohio than in Michigan. We have five or six counties on that level. Ohio has about ten to twelve of them between the counties outside of Columbus and Cincinnati.
Okay, did you contact the moderator and ask them to changeit?
What you get is the Sound of Silence. No boasting, no lectures, no yard signs. Either they are secretly planning to vote for Romney or they are staying home...
...none of the above addresses the real problem of our great state of pennsylvania...it is corrupt to the core, completely dependent on taxpayer financing, subject to big city manipulation, and heavily supportive of thuggish union tactics...it is, IMO, the most corrupt and archaic state in the union, perhaps rivalled by MI and IL, and will happily bleed a taxpayer dry in order to fill the pockets of its myriad superfluous legislators...in other words, the perfect breeding ground for American style socialism as exhibited by Obama...
...that you may not see yard signs is no indicator of anything, other than your county of residence, many of which are quite conservative and struggle under this state’s opprobrium...I’m in Lancaster county, as solid GOP as any deep red state, and every potus election I watch the state called for the Dem five minutes after the polls close, even though it turns out 48 counties out of 63 or so go turn out to go red...
...if you get the impression that I can’t stand this state in which I live, you could not be more correct...I’m praying that OSU clobbers PSU this Saturday, though I doubt it...I’ll have to grin and bear it while the cultist PSU bunch raise another coach to deity status with each victory...
