He wasn't ill prepared. Obama never called Libya “terrorism”, which both Crowley and Obama basically said he did. Obama refused to call it terrorism for 2 weeks and his refusal was confirmed by Susan Rice, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and even Candy Crowley herself. He may have used the word “terror” once but it wasn't in the context as Crowley is portraying.

I know every nuance of what you are explaining. I follow it all. That is not what the 60+ million debate watchers do. So, Rommey needed to approach it differently to get through to the non partisans. He clearly failed. Good news is he will get his chance Monday.

It better be something more than a word usage.
