“We women should never have been given the vote!!”

Lord help me, but I’m inclined to agree. What’s more is I’m hearing more women say that to me unbidden.

I was at a wedding shower three weekends ago when I was told by a lesbian sister of my best friend that she will no longer participate in all-female softball teams. Too many control freaks and raging estrogen, said she.

She joined a co-ed team and it was nothing but a party.

My wife, life-long D, comes home complaining that the last man in her math department left and was replaced by a female. She said, “It’s already begun. I don’t know what it is about having even a single man around, but the difference it makes is astounding.”

Women are blessed with the ability to suspend logic in order to make their circumstances satisfactory to them. I’m floored by their ability to allow the most egregious of life’s injustices or inconsistences to fade past their apparent care. On the other hand, perhaps that’s linked to their proclivity toward their fixation at times on the least important aspect of any situation as a causis belli.

It’s as if they don’t see any connections between cause and effect. Even the biggest assh*le male can be shamed into admitting they are in the hole they are in because they’ve been busy digging it. At that point, the comedy is in watching their pride get in the way of putting the shovel down.

Women are very protective of their families and for this reason are willing to sacrifice freedom for security. A losing proposition for our nation.

This is completely off topic and may post this article, but apparently Halloween mask sales, which earlier were big for Obama, are now switching toward Romney despite a current lead for Obama.

That is an interesting development. Completely unscientific, but does show buzz for Romney skyrocketing:

“”However, whereas in September Obama masks were selling 35 percent more than Romney masks, to date in October, Romney masks are selling 200 percent more than Obama masks.”

Another costume seller, Buycostumes.com, has what it calls “The Official Presidential Mask Poll 2012,” which features a state-by-state tally of which candidate is winning. The company’s website boasts that its mask sales have correctly predicted the election winner since 2000 when Republican George W. Bush narrowly defeated Democrat Al Gore.

So far, the company said, Obama masks are outselling Romney masks by 51 to 49 percent.”

The woman vote happened to come along in the progressive era, and shortly thereafter our Republic went down the tubes with the New Deal (as anticipated in Wilson’s War Socialism). You can’t blame women, though. It was a coincidence.

One of my pet counterhistorical wishes is tva women would have gotten the vote along with blacks after the War Between the States. There was a strong libertarian streak early on, which I infinitely prefer to the current leftist monopoly in feminism. Socialists won them over after they were left hanging for about 60 years.

I’m at a loss as to what the real difference is between not realizing you’re in a hole and continuing to dig because of pride.
