How else can you explain it? Over one hundreds attacks in Libya in the months building up to 9/11, and the White House removes Stephens’ security details. It was so bad ALL other countries and the Red Cross had already pulled out. The State Department was paying Stephens serious hazard pay to keep him there, all the while denying him protection, isolating him, cutting him off, ignoring his requests for assistance. He was less protected than our ambassador in France. Someone wanted him vulnerable.
