IAF aircraft struck a terror activity center in northern Gaza on Wednesday night, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit announced.
According to the statement, direct hits at the target were detected. All Israeli aircraft safely returned to their bases.
The attack came in response to the ongoing rocket attacks from Gaza into Israeli territory.
On Wednesday afternoon, terrorists from Hamas-controlled Gaza fired a rocket into the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council area. The rocket exploded near greenhouses in the area, causing them damage. No physical injuries were reported.
On Tuesday, the IAF carried out a similar attack on a terror activity center in northern Gaza.
The attack came several hours after terrorists from Gaza fired a barrage of at least seven rockets at the city of Sderot and the nearby area.
One of the rockets exploded next to a local kindergarten. No one was physically injured but damage was caused to the building. The other rockets exploded in open areas. There were no reports of casualties or damage.

I’ll believe Israel is serious when they follow it up with a 12 hour artillery barrage.
Remember that giant fortification of Arafat’s that the IDF blew to smithereens a few years ago? The thing was the size of a city block. I forgot what palestinian hovel-city it was in.
Hamas seems to have more military facilities to hit than all the western world put together.
Israel is not serious, but every little step towards that helps. Serious is a huge build-up to the North, in Ashkelon or Sderot, which concentrates all their defenses, human shields, amo depots in hospitals, schools and mosques, etc., in the North. Then a lightning assault in the South of Gaza coming from the dessert in the East and the Mediterranian in the West, joining hands in the South and cutting off the smuggling tunnels. No human shields and other fakery to rebut, just clear, decisive victory. The war is won in six hours. Then find all Hamas leaders and either kill them or transport them to Antarctica, the new Palestinian Homeland, and let them throw their firebombs at the penguins, and see how the “international community” likes them then. That’s what must be done when we’re finally serious.
Just transport the leaders. Let them blaze a trail, and see if the John Q. Arab on the street will follow.
Sounds like a plan to me.
Where they are commanded to wage eternal war against the penguinfidels!
