I’ve got a left handed compound bow sitting in the studio gathering dust
which I’ll happily give to anyone with a use for it. Got it at an estate sale
and didn’t realize it was a lefty until later. I can’t use it.
I’m left handed when it comes to writing, but right handed in all other things.
Mixed up ol’ mess, you betcha.
I’m right-handed but left-eye dominant. It makes for a weird shooting stance.
My brother is a lefty writer but switches up a lot for most things, shoots right handed mostly.
He was tough at tennis because he had no backhand, just switched hands. He could do this equally for the serve, and throw the ball up high, switch hands while you were watching the ball, then put the ball in a place you swore he could not possible have placed it.
If he was quick, he would switch back while your went after the ball. It took some people 3 or four aced serves before they could figure out what the heck he was doing.
Neither of us were really any good. But the parents bought a house with a tennis court back when we were teenagers. We would set up with a basket full of balls and just practice serving. We never got good at playing but 30 years ago, we could smoke in a serve.
Please bring it! Being left handed myself, I'd like to try it.
WooHoo, The Mom, it looks like I'll get to make it this year!
Probably only for the night before the shoot and the day of the shoot, but I'll be there!
